Ploblems uploading images 7 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
I've just installed the latest Joomla together with the latest version of JomEstate and keep getting "Please check file extension or file size:" when I upload any type of image at any size. I've changed all the FTP folder permissions to 777 - still no luck

limit is 10mb, i tried jpeg and gif.

helpdesk said:

Hello,

I am afraid the issue is not caused by specific permissions on some of the folders.

As I found after I recreated the issue the joomestate component does not like the file size and the extensions of the images I tried to upload.

I have tried with jpg and gif files, legal image file types. It said:

* Please check file extension or file size: sitegroundlogo.gif

I have tried with smaller images and it always says the same message.

I have also checked the component's configuration, but there are no options for file size and image files.

In Joomla's global configuration the max image size is 10 MB and the jpg and gif extensions are allowed.

I would advise you to contact the developers of the component for further assistance. The official website of the project is:
